SWAT Basic is just one step in the much larger process of becoming a trained member on the team. One week of foundational skills that prepare you to become operational and further training once you rejoin your team. We understand that becoming proficient takes time, so we prioritize teaching the most crucial and technically demanding aspects of the job during the training week.
This course is a combination of Tactical Rifle 1, CQB 1, TacMed 1 which covers:
Tactical Firearms (8 hours)
This is a full day of advanced marksmanship and dynamic training to prepare students to enter the CQB environment.
Mechanical Breaching Procedures (4 hours)
Arguably the most critical phase of every SWAT operation - the ability to safely and effectively breach into the structure.
Intro to Tac-Med (4 hours)
The essentials every SWAT officer must know to save their teammates life when seconds count.
CQB Fundamentals (24 Hours)
Learning the most recent, relevant and effective close quarters tactics in the country.
Officer requirements: Open to full time or reserve law enforcement officers, correction officers and active military security/LE. You do NOT have to be assigned to a team to attend.

Tactical Rifle 1
The Tier One Series Tactical Rifle is a course designed for the shooter that wants to increase their rifle skills . This is not a course for beginner rifle shooters! The course will cover:

Student Requirements: Defensive Rifle 1 and 2 preferred or a rifle/carbine course from a recognizable organization. Must be able to put your gun into action and under stress.
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, range belt, pants with pockets, weather appropriate gear, range gear, no open toed shoes, food, hydration, and a positive attitude. Note taking materials, AR-15 style rifle with sling, minimum of 3 magazines, kit with mag pouches. Handgun with a minimum of 3 magazines and retention holster. 500 rounds of commercially loaded ball rifle ammunition, 100 rounds of commercially loaded ball pistol ammunition.

Tactical Breacher Instructor
LE/GOV/MIL ONLY
The Tactical Breacher Instructor the students will have a solid, foundational understanding of the of the history, concepts, principles and current applications for conducting mechanical & shotgun breaching techniques.
Instructional Objectives:
At the end of this course of instruction, the student will:
1. Be able to illustrate the historical basis of structural breaching.
2. Be able to conduct standard breaching with handheld tools or shotgun.
3. Be able to breach multiple types of commercial and residential doors.
4. Be able to access and choose the correct tools for breaching applications.
5. Be able to conduct a target site POE reconnaissance if applicable.
6. Be able to complete a hasty POE target site plan of action.
7. Be able to teach all concepts and techniques to students.

Interior Conflict 3 Workshop
Description:
Free workshop for all Interior Conflict 3 attendees and IC2 graduates.
Attendance is not mandatory, but highly recommended, especially for those attending IC3.
Doors will be open from 9am until 5pm.
In the event you are only able to attend for a couple hours it is suggested that you do so.
We all know, the more reps the better.
Ammunition will be available for purchase in the event individuals wish to conduct force on paper runs.

SWAT Medic Development Level 1

This three-day, 24-hour program is designed to train current or prospective SWAT Medics/Tactical Emergency Services (TEMS) technicians with the knowledge and ability to provide lifesaving and sustaining immediate trauma care techniques and tools in support of police SWAT operations. The course is open to Paramedics, EMTs (B) and Law Enforcement officers.
This dynamic course will provide students with the knowledge to understand tactical situations and to apply life-saving strategies to traumatic injuries which they may encounter as the primary medical technicians on SWAT teams or other tactical units. Students will learn and practice the proper use and limitations of field expedient trauma equipment and skills to include tourniquets, pressure dressings, occlusive dressings, combat gauze, wound packing, pressure points, airway management, etc. Students will also learn how to use improvised tools and materials to treat traumatic injuries when commercial equipment is not available.
Students will be guided through tactical decision-making processes, conducting effective triage of injured victims and the specific intervention methods to apply based on an understanding of the different zones of operation within tactical incidents. Students will then be given opportunities to assess their tactical decision-making processes and the proper use of medical interventions within various scenario-based training modules.

The CQB Instructor course is a comprehensive 5-day block of instruction where students learn to develop training plans, manage logistical support for training events, create training timelines, manage personnel, and instruct others in the application of tactics and techniques provided in this course through structural navigation in 2-man teams, 4-man teams, and multi-team training events.

Reality Based Training (Force on Force)
Officer requirements: Open to full time or reserve law enforcement officers, correction officers and active military security/LE. You do NOT have to be assigned to a team to attend.
Required items:
Physical fitness clothing
BDU style uniform and boots
Body armor (Hard or Soft)
Ballistic/Bump helmet
Gun belt with holster
Handgun with three magazines
AR/M4/M16 rifle with sling and three magazines
Eye protection
Hearing protection
Gas Mask/Paintball mask
250 rounds of commercially produced handgun ammunition
1000 rounds of commercially produced rifle ammunition
NLTA (Sims/UTM/FX) converted rifle, NLTA converted handgun
500 rounds of 5.56 NLTA
100 rounds of 9mm NLTA
UTM Glocks and Rifle conversions are available to attendees. UTM ammunition may be purchased prior to March 13, 2023 from MTAC for the course.
All registrations need to be 100% paid in full to guarantee attendance by the officer. If you pay by check or request an invoice, your officer won't be guaranteed until payment is received. No refunds, no exceptions.

Defensive Rifle 1
Defensive Rifle 1 is a course designed for responsible gun owners that want to start their journey as a well trained shooter. Perfect for that first time gun owner or a gun owner that hasn't shot in years. The course will cover:
Firearm safety
Operation of the AR-15 and ammunition
Safe handling and operation of a rifle
Maintenance and cleaning
Skills for accuracy-Basic Rifle Marksmanship
Laws impacting the use of the AR-15
Dry fire techniques
Target shooting
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, belt, pants with pockets, no open toed shoes, AR-15 rifle with sling, minimum of 2 rifle magazines, magazine pouches (chest rig or on belt) and a positive attitude. Range gear, hydration and food for the day. Weather appropriate apparel, we train rain or shine. 750 rounds of commercially loaded ball ammunition.
