MTAC’s CQB Instructor Development 1 is the first of 3 courses focusing on the fundamentals and principles of CQB. Tactical Rifle
The Tier One Series Tactical Rifle is a 2 day course designed for the shooter that wants to increase their rifle skills . This is not a course for beginner rifle shooters! The course will cover:
Firearm safety
Basic Rifle Fundamentals
Sights
Skills for accuracy
Reloading
Malfunctions
Movement
Target Transitions
Shooting in depth/width
Student Requirements: This is not a basic rifle course, you must be able to put your gun into action and under stress. You must have taken a basic rifle course from a reputable and recognizable training organization prior to this course. Military/LE basic rifle training is acceptable for this course.
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, range belt, pants with pockets, weather appropriate gear, range gear, no open toed shoes, food, hydration, and a positive attitude. Note taking materials, AR-15 style rifle with sling, minimum of 3 magazines, kit with mag pouches. Handgun with a minimum of 3 magazines and retention holster. 1000 rounds of commercially loaded ball rifle ammunition, 100 rounds of commercially loaded ball pistol ammunition.

Tactical Breacher Instructor
This course is taught by Kurt Delia of Delia Tactical.

The Tactical Breacher Instructor the students will have a solid, foundational understanding of the of the history, concepts, principles and current applications for conducting mechanical & shotgun breaching techniques.
Instructional Objectives:
At the end of this course of instruction, the student will:

Armored Vehicle Operations & Rescue

Armored vehicles in general have been in existence for more than a century and used
extensively by military units and security forces worldwide. Since this time, Law Enforcement
Agencies have seen the vast lifesaving potential for the usage of armored vehicles in everyday
emergency response and applications. There are both civilian armored vehicles and military
style vehicles in use today around the globe by law enforcement agencies. Programs have been
designed to demilitarize certain military vehicles and re-appropriate them for use with law
enforcement agencies and tactical/ rescue response teams. We have taken away the militarized
combat applications and now use these vehicles to conduct emergency response missions,
search and rescue missions, and lastly deploy these life-saving tools when responding to
natural or man-made disasters/ incidents. Armor = Cover
In this training course students will have learned the history behind and the current usage of the
Armored Vehicles, practical applications, proper maintenance procedures, driving
applications (on and off-road) and current best practices. We are confident that you as
operators will be able to safely use your Armored Vehicles in practical field applications
and in emergency situations by following the techniques, tactics and procedures taught in this
course.

The TacMed for First Responders program is specifically designed for those looking to establish a comprehensive Medical Threat Assessment, which encompasses the development of a medical plan for tactical operations. Participants will gain proficiency in techniques aimed at controlling life-threatening hemorrhage during scenarios classified as care under fire (HOT ZONE). Furthermore, students will practice methods for treating both life-threatening and non-life-threatening injuries during the Tactical Field Care phase, which occurs in a (WARM ZONE). Throughout the program, participants will also demonstrate their capabilities in lifting, moving, and extricating victims from tactical or hostile environments during the Tactical Evacuation Care segment.

Interior Conflict 2 consists of training days 3 and 4 in the series. Students will hit the ground running right where IC1 left off. More team members, more targets, target identification and complexity of structure solving are introduced to the students. Small unit tactics and leadership continues to emerge during these training days. The thinking man's game gets a lot more complicated.....

Student Pre-Requisites - Interior Conflict 1 alumni only.

Note taking materials, AR-15 with sling (will be converted to shoot UTM) kit with mag pouches, if you want to use a pistol, we have NLTA converted Glocks available and holsters. A minimum of 2 boxes (60 rds) of 5.56 UTM MMR (available for purchase day of class), 9MM ammunition is included in the tuition.

Reinforced learning through stress and experience (force on force)
Student pre-requisite: Students that have complete Interior Conflict 1-see required equipment. Students that have not taken IC1 will be used in scenarios as scene medics or role players.
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, belt, pants with pockets, no open toed shoes, snacks, hydration, and a positive attitude. Please wear clothing that can get simulated blood on it. Note taking materials, AR-15 with sling (converted to shoot Mantis X Blackbeard). In lieu of purchasing NLTA ammunition, a Mantis X Blackbeard Red Laser will be required to purchase (at a deep discount) day of class if you don’t already own one. This class is no longer force on force thanks to the ATF.

More team members, more targets, target identification and complexity of structure solving are introduced to the students. Small unit tactics and leadership continues to emerge during these training days. The thinking man's game gets a lot more complicated.....

From the moment the class begins, the Interior Conflict Course within the Tier 1 series immediately introduces the student to close quarter combat and structural navigation. This is not home defense on steroids, this is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with elite level training derived from that used in Special Forces.

Interior Conflict 3 Workshop
Description:
Free workshop for all Interior Conflict 3 attendees and IC2 graduates.
Attendance is not mandatory, but highly recommended, especially for those attending IC3.
Doors will be open from 9am until 5pm.
In the event you are only able to attend for a couple hours it is suggested that you do so.
We all know, the more reps the better.
Ammunition will be available for purchase in the event individuals wish to conduct force on paper runs.

SWAT Medic Development Level 1

This three-day, 24-hour program is designed to train current or prospective SWAT Medics/Tactical Emergency Services (TEMS) technicians with the knowledge and ability to provide lifesaving and sustaining immediate trauma care techniques and tools in support of police SWAT operations. The course is open to Paramedics, EMTs (B) and Law Enforcement officers.
This dynamic course will provide students with the knowledge to understand tactical situations and to apply life-saving strategies to traumatic injuries which they may encounter as the primary medical technicians on SWAT teams or other tactical units. Students will learn and practice the proper use and limitations of field expedient trauma equipment and skills to include tourniquets, pressure dressings, occlusive dressings, combat gauze, wound packing, pressure points, airway management, etc. Students will also learn how to use improvised tools and materials to treat traumatic injuries when commercial equipment is not available.
Students will be guided through tactical decision-making processes, conducting effective triage of injured victims and the specific intervention methods to apply based on an understanding of the different zones of operation within tactical incidents. Students will then be given opportunities to assess their tactical decision-making processes and the proper use of medical interventions within various scenario-based training modules.

The CQB Instructor course is a comprehensive 5-day block of instruction where students learn to develop training plans, manage logistical support for training events, create training timelines, manage personnel, and instruct others in the application of tactics and techniques provided in this course through structural navigation in 2-man teams, 4-man teams, and multi-team training events.
