TACMED 1
The TacMed for First Responders program is specifically designed for those looking to establish a comprehensive Medical Threat Assessment, which encompasses the development of a medical plan for tactical operations. Participants will gain proficiency in techniques aimed at controlling life-threatening hemorrhage during scenarios classified as care under fire (HOT ZONE). Furthermore, students will practice methods for treating both life-threatening and non-life-threatening injuries during the Tactical Field Care phase, which occurs in a (WARM ZONE). Throughout the program, participants will also demonstrate their capabilities in lifting, moving, and extricating victims from tactical or hostile environments during the Tactical Evacuation Care segment.
This course covers:
Individual First Aid Kit exploration
Hemostatic Applications
Wound packing
Hypo/Hyperthermia treatment
Debunking tourniquet myths/tourniquet use
Skill stations/scenarios
Student pre-requisite: Students must be certified first responders in good standing with their department.
Required equipment: Students are encouraged to wear proper clothing (e.g., BDU pants, t-shirt or compatible clothing) for skill drills that include being dragged and carried.

Day 2 features all hands on repetitions of in depth scenarios. Students will increase their abilities and gain confidence with their wound care via life like scenarios. The scenarios will cover:
Team Health
Fit Test procedures
Establishing a casualty collection point
Medical Director Roles and Responsibilities
Tactical Team training environment

This interactive course is perfect for anyone in learning how to save their own or someone else's life. Tools, training, mindset. The only variables we can control.
Gun shot wounds, vehicle accidents, farm accidents, deep cuts requiring stitches or anything else that requires immediate medical care. Buy yourself the time to get to proper care with these life-saving techniques and tools taught by leading trauma care instructors.
This is a promotion course
This course covers:
Individual First Aid Kit exploration
Trauma Trilogy
Hemostatic Applications
Wound packing
Hypo/Hyperthermia treatment
Debunking tourniquet myths/tourniquet use
Skill stations/scenarios
Day 2 features all hands on repetitions of wound packing, applying chest seals, and tourniquet use. Students will increase their abilities and gain confidence with their wound care via life like scenarios. The scenarios will cover:
Rapid injury assessment
Tourniquet application under stress
Wound packing
Pressure dressings
Chest seal application
Reinforced learning through stress and experience (force on force)
Student pre-requisite: Students that have complete Interior Conflict 1-see required equipment. Students that have not taken IC1 will be used in scenarios as scene medics or role players.
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, belt, pants with pockets, no open toed shoes, snacks, hydration, and a positive attitude. Please wear clothing that can get simulated blood on it. Note taking materials, AR-15 with sling (converted to shoot Mantis X Blackbeard). In lieu of purchasing NLTA ammunition, a Mantis X Blackbeard Red Laser will be required to purchase (at a deep discount) day of class if you don’t already own one. This class is no longer force on force thanks to the ATF.

More Than A Bandaid 2
Part 2 of our More Than A Band Aid series features all hands on repetitions of wound packing, applying chest seals, and tourniquet use. Students will increase their abilities and gain confidence with their wound care via life like scenarios. The scenarios will cover:
Rapid injury assessment
Tourniquet application under stress
Cadaver anatomy practical
Wound packing
Pressure dressings
Chest seal application
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, snacks, hydration, note writing materials and a positive attitude. Clothing that may get splashed with simulated blood.
Eye protection is available for purchase in our pro shop.
