CQB 1 is an introduction to high-level tactics and structural navigation designed for law enforcement and military. This is not the same instruction as the Interior Conflict class for civilians. Students will learn tactics and the “why” behind them as a 2 and 4-person element. Leadership is a priority focus of this course and will be instilled in each individual as they progress through the training. These tactics will be tested in force on paper and force on force scenarios.

Student Requirements: Active Law Enforcement, Military, Corrections and National Guard (Reservist or Active). Security Professionals can apply for a closed enrollment course for their company.
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, belt, pants with pockets, no open toed shoes, snacks, hydration, and a positive attitude. Note taking materials, NLTA (Sims/UTM/FX) converted rifle, NLTA converted handgun, full kit, minimum 3 rifle magazines, minimum 2 handgun magazines. 500 rounds of 5.56 NLTA, 100 rounds of 9mm NLTA. UTM Glocks and Rifle conversions are available to attendees. UTM ammunition may be purchased the day of class.
Force on Force required equipment: Long pants and shirts (Two layers of LOOSE clothing is recommended ), Head, neck and face protection (no exposed skin), Gloves with back of the hand protection, Groin protection.
