Tactical Pistol is a course designed for the shooter that wants to increase their pistol skills . This is a Tier One Series class and not a course for beginner pistol shooters! The course will cover:
Firearm safety
Grip
Sights - Red dot or iron
Skills for accuracy
Reloading
Malfunctions
Movement
Target Transitions
Shooting in depth/width
Student Requirements: Must have taken a basic pistol course from a recognizable organization. Must be proficient in drawing from a holster, be familiar with loading, unloading, clearing and malfunctions.
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, pistol belt, pants with pockets, weather appropriate gear, range gear, no open toed shoes, food, hydration, and a positive attitude. 500 rounds of commercially loaded ball ammunition. Note taking materials, semi automatic handgun, retention holster for your handgun, minimum of 3 magazines, kit with mag pouches.
