We are back with the SWAT Commander’s Network! SWAT Commander Network is a group of SWAT Commanders dedicated to developing professional relationships while sharing knowledge. Using a business networking model, we have established a group of SWAT professionals that meet on a regular basis to learn or share topics. This quarter’s meeting we will dive deep into discussion with MSG (Ret) Luke Vilsmeyer on MTAC’s CQB Instructor course and the benefits of the DHD to and through method. We will also be having an open discussion with what SWAT Commanders want to see being taught in SWAT School. What changes need to be made to keep up with modern tactical team needs. We will wrap up with OTTO Communications Demonstration.
Every meeting will feature a guest presenter and each agency will have time to share something with the other attendees. Two members of each Agency’s team leadership may attend. If the Commander is unable to attend the meeting, they may send an Assistant Commander or Team Leader in their place. Meetings will not last any longer than 4 hours. Please RSVP!
