Have you ever wanted to spend a day in the life of a law enforcement officer? Now is your chance! Based off of MTAC’s proven curriculum, students will spend a couple of hours in the classroom learning about law enforcement; a couple of hours on the range-learning how to shoot; and the afternoon in real life scenarios based on what LE encounter everyday. Scenarios will include, but not be limited to:
During scenarios, students will play the roles of; first officer on scene, supervisor, back up officer, witness, and victim. Students will get a perspective of different situations that LEO’s have to deal with and the speed of which they have to make split second decisions with limited information in rapidly evolving circumstances.
Required equipment: Belt, pants with pockets, no open toed shoes, snacks, hydration, and a positive attitude.
